Case Study – Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District
The Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District (MWCD) and EZ Dock worked together to create a series of waterside attractions in Ohio. The watershed is about 8,000 square miles, and it empties into the Muskingum River, which flows into the Ohio River. The MWCD oversees the maintenance and development of dams and reservoirs.

Project Details
The MWCD watershed includes dams, lakes and reservoirs that reduce the impact of flooding. The 14 lakes and reservoirs all offer public access. The four reservoirs and 10 lakes are the following:
- Atwood Lake
- Beach City Lake
- Bolivar Reservoir
- Charles Mill Lake
- Clendening Lake
- Dover Reservoir
- Leesville Lake
- Mohawk Reservoir
- Mohican Reservoir
- Piedmont Lake
- Pleasant Hill Lake
- Seneca Lake
- Tappan Lake
- Wills Creek Lake
Each area offers many activities, including fishing, boating, kayaking and swimming. EZ Dock manufactured the floating docks and launch areas for all these locations. This project falls under the MWCD state department’s goal to protect the site and encourage others to enjoy the state’s resources.
Lasting Impacts
The MWCD’s goal is to preserve the natural environment and create public recreation areas. With the help of EZ Dock products, visitors can enjoy the scenery and get closer to nature than ever before. The EZ Dock materials are an investment that will last the state department for many years.
EZ Dock proudly believes in protecting our natural resources. This collaboration was the perfect opportunity to showcase our products and help the state of Ohio offer more for its residents.
